I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach. I am inspired by Youth, by Voice, and by people who care. I am also inspired by the beauty of the world, which I think consists of nature, of art and of community. I am involved in theatre, and literature: I was recently published in a book about Indigenous identity, the environment, and co-habitation and communication between Indigenous peoples and French Canadians in Québec.
